Our move-day services include cubicle relocation and installation, inventory management, file system shelving and racking, safe handling of artwork, computer equipment, over-sized furniture, and much more.
Our move process — referred to as a shuttle — anchors one crew at the origin address and another at the destination address. Our trucks, loaded with your inventory, are shuttled between locations in a continuous cycle. The anchor crews stay in place to keep the movement and placement of your property flowing smoothly from origin to destination. Security is important to us. Your property is never unattended.
We float load our trucks, which means your property is efficiently positioned on the truck without stacking items. This method is quick and safe, preventing damage to your property and minimizing the possibility of injury to our crews. Air ride suspension on our trucks keeps road vibration to a minimum, protecting furniture and electronics from damage.
We have a responsibility to prevent damage to the facility on both ends of your move. MoveWorks takes control of protecting property by covering floors, walls, corners, and other required surfaces at origin and destination.
Specialized Technology System Care
We work with your IT staff to minimize downtime while protecting your valuable equipment and ensuring the safety of your assets. Our move-experienced technicians disconnect, pack, transport, reconnect, and install the tools your business depends on: electronics, computers, monitors, servers, workstations; office machinery; telecommunications and audiovisual system components; industrial and other fragile equipment that requires care and special handling.
Packing Services, Materials, and Supplies
MoveWorks can pack your entire office carefully, efficiently and affordably. Or, we can help you determine the materials your employees need and provide them at an affordable cost. Our professionals use sturdy crates, panel and machine carts, gondolas, padded moving dollies, flat screen protectors, padding and shrink wrapping. Need moving equipment? Furniture Acquisition and Disposition
We provide a wide variety of pre-owned name brand office furniture including case goods and systems furniture. We can also help with the disposition of existing furniture, either through liquidation or disposal.
Document Shredding
As you sort through files and documents, you’ll determine many that don’t need to make the move with you. MoveWorks offers onsite mobile document destruction to give you peace of mind.
Storage, Warehousing and Asset Management Services
MoveWorks offers 80,000 square feet of convenient, clean, climate-controlled warehouse space for your short- or long-term office storage. Your property will be palletized, shrink-wrapped, racked, and inventoried for you. Controlled access and 24-hour monitored security systems offer maximum security.
MoveWorks can receive, deliver, and install (RDI) your furniture as needed, and assist with offsite asset management and delivery. Swing space can often solve temporary reconfiguration staging.
We can also meet your packing, shipping, and freight forwarding needs on demand.
Facility Management
MoveWorks helps several of our clients with interim or daily move management. Internal relocation, rearrangement of office space in existing facilities, and expert reconfiguration and installation of modular furniture can simplify the demands on your facility management staff.
Furniture Installation and Reconfiguration
A fresh start doesn’t always involve new furniture. MoveWorks offers expert furniture repair, refurbishing, and touch-up of various materials as well as cubicle panel and chair cleaning. Our service includes space build-outs, and assembly and installation of cubicle plans.
